Day one of convention!

Day one of convention! OK, I have come for four years and it seems like every year it has rained during part if not all of convention. It does not, however, seem to damped the spirits of the participants. So far registration has been smooth and everyone found their way to the main hall. Already the hot buzz conversation is the bylaw amendment to change the name of MSTA to MSEA. Last year it was a close vote. So hopes are high that it will pass this year. My home delegation is proposing the amendment. I know it will be a great tool to get ESP members more involved. Also it will create a better feeling of acceptance in out organization. Keep your fingers crossed!!
